Rose (Rosa rugosa Thunb.) is a deciduous shrub within Rose, wide varieties, delightful fragrance, which have been utilized extensively as excellent landscaping trees and famous natural aromatic plants all over the world. The quality of rose oil is determined depend on the kind and content of aroma constituents. However, with increasingly serious of the soil salinity, much attention concentrate on the exploitation of saline in our country. In view of these situations, the significance of important theoretical and practical will be highlighted on the research that salt stress impact on the composition and yield of essential oil of rose. In our present study, we firstly explore the optimum system from simultaneous distillation extraction of essential oil of rose in which the purple roses as test material. On this basis, the analysis of the effect on the composition and yield of essential oils depend on different treatments of salt stress were performed. Additionally, we further analysis the changes on key genes associated with aroma constituents biosynthesis based on different gradient treatments of salt stress. The main results are as follows:1.With purple roses blooming period for the material, simultaneous-dist extraction is utilized to extract rose essential oil, combined with the single factor analysis method, by simultaneous-dist extraction method take the best technological parameters for extraction of rose essential oil:the liquid ratio is 4:1, distillation temperature is 120℃, distillation time is 4 h.2. Salt stress will has an obvious effect on the kinds of rose essential oil fragrance composition and content. Without the stress of water treatment 31 kinds of aroma components were detected, however,25 mM and 50 mM processing respectively detected a 35 and 42 kinds of aroma components, to 100 mM when processing kinds of aroma components significantly, only 20 kinds, that is to say mild or moderate salt stress is advantageous to the rich aroma of rose essential oil components; 50 mM processing of alcohols, aldehydes, esters, phenols, terpenes and alkane compounds were less than 25 mM processing, only the total acid compounds increased slightly. All in all, although the mild and moderate salt stress will lower the content of aroma components in the rose essential oil, it will also make species more rich, essential oil quality is not affected, so the equilibrium output and quality, especially from the perspective of strengthening of saline-alkali land reasonable use, it is suggested that saline-alkali land in promotion and with roses, roses industry.3. RrDXR、RrAAT and RrDXS2 is associated with gene expression and the salt content processing, under the different levels of salt stress, the growth and development of roses is strongly influenced by salt stress, the aroma composition related gene expression compared with the normal processing is be in inhibition of different level, despite the fluorescence quantitative PCR analysis showed that with increasing salt concentration, part of the gene expression level is higher, but the effect of salt stress on rose plant growth and development is larger and eventually the increased amount of these gene expression does not directly lead to the increased amount of aroma composition of synthetic, the synthesis of aroma compositions performances for decreased, thus affecting the composition and content of essential oil.
