With the continuous development and innovation of laser processing technology and computer aided design, many efficient automated laser processing equipment is used in modern industrial departments that having become the perfect combination of graphics and image, which consisted of computer, and the numerical control laser processing system. At present, the general laser processing equipment can only edit simple graphic of laser processing, then apply a class of the graphics CAD vector data directly to generating the machining path, expanding the flexibility and automated of laser machining process. It has a very important theory and application value in the future.The control of laser processing systems and software development was focused in this paper. It completed its work on the following aspects:1. By analyzing the structure and working principle of laser processing motion control system to determine the hardware architecture of the laser processing control system and its components. Combined with the MPC03-LS motion control card and the dynamic link library technology, Motion control function of the system is completed, the connection with the respective hardware debugging systems are implemented.2. According to the software requirements of the control system, Using Windows XP as the operating system platform, Delphi as the software development platform. DXF file as a data interface file of AutoCAD, it generated by the introduction of the graphics processing system. According to the primitive classification, vector files are analyzed in detail. In the system interface, extraction and processing of the DXF vector files are completed be processed graphics rendering and editing features are realized.3. In order to save processing time, Combined with the actual production and laser processing characteristics, The software produced by machining path is described as the classic Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP), established the Mathematical model and solved this problem. For the vector file in different elements of the control nodes, using the nearest neighbor algorithm is optimized. According to the parameters set by the user, the processing file generates the corresponding shortest path.4. The control surface and the various functional modules of the software are implemented. By designing the output driver and parameter adjustment function module to control the output of the laser. Optimization of graphical information input or transformed, it converted into processing data. Efficient laser processing is accomplished.Proved by the example results of laser processing that this control system can reduces the laser processing of excess air travel time. Processing efficiency is improved by about 20%.
