With the development of high-water and deepwater oilfield and the environmental standards is increasingly urgent, it is need to develop the compact and efficient technology and equipment for produced water treatment. This paper has explored the structure and working principle of compact flotation unit from different manufacturers at home and abroad. Then, based on the existing theoretical system, designed the internal structure of two level series compact flotation unit of indoor experiment prototype for the first time in domestic. Early put forward five kinds of feasible structure scheme and one-to-one comparison sort out the theoretically optimal design for structure scheme. Under the existing theoretical system, rely on the capacity, residence time, and swirl intensity control equipment main design parameters, such as initial structure size. Late using GAMBIT software modeling, and make use of ANSYS FLUENT software to improvement and optimization of the inner core components size.The experimental progress consists of two parts:microbubble performance evaluation experiment and compact flotation unit oil removal experiments. Microbubble performance evaluation experiment used microbubble generator provided by Ningbo company, groped for flow rate, gas injection rate, injection pressure differential three effect of the quality of air bubbles, provided certain reference for subsequent experiments. The experimental results showed that the smaller pore diameter, large flow, the appropriate gas injection rate and injection pressure to form good microbubbles. Late for independent research and development of internal two-stage tandem experiment prototype to carry out the indoor experimental study. Compact flotation unit oil removal experiment main contains single-stage and two-stage tandem experiment two parts, with the help of a single-stage experiment of orthogonal experiment, single factor experiment equipment for approximate optimal parameters. Then the two-stage series equipment used the optimal parameters of single stage experimental. The results show that without adding any reagents, the oil removal efficiency of equipment with single-stage is about 30%, and under two-stage is about 35%. With adding regents, the oil removal efficiency of equipment with single-stage is about 45%.In this paper, through a combination of theoretical research and experimental research, verified the internal two-stage series air floatation cyclone the feasibility of the integration of equipment, for the next phase of the upcoming improved optimization and provides certain guiding industrial amplification.
