Storage and transportation equipment related to liquefied-gases have been developed considerably because of the wide application of liquefied-gases. With the increasing demand of liquefied-gases, the trucks for transportation of liquefied-gases are required larger and larger in scale and lower and lower in energy consumption. In this thesis, truck tanks using for storaging cryogenic liquefied-gases are studied for the strength, stiffness and heat transfer. The main work and conclusions are as follows.(1) Numerical simulations for a large truck tank using for cryogenic liquefied-gas were carried out based on ANSYS APDL Product. Four transport load cases specified in national standards for the transportable trucks have been considered. The contact type standard provided by the software is used to simulate the contact connection between the glass supporters and the inner tank or outer jacket. Numerical simulation results show that the strength and stiffness of the tanks meet the requirements of national standard.(2) The outer jaket of liquefied-gas cryogenic tank truck is a typical case of external pressure vessel. In order to enhance the anti-instability capability of the outer jaket, a lot of reinforcing rings are provided. In order to increase the geometrical volume of the inner vessel without exceeding the width limitation on the vehicle, the reinforcement rings are usually cut-off on both sides of the jacket. After the cutting off, the code of GB150-2011 can not be directly applied to design the structure. In this thesis, with a so-called stiffness weakening coefficient of the reinforcement ring calculated according to the cut-off ratio, the stability of the outer jacket with partly cut-off reinforcement rings can be calculated easily and the process of stability calculation in engineering design is simplified.(3) Thermal analysis model of the cryogenic liquefied-gas transport tanks were establised by ignoring the heat radiation which is prevented by the heat insulation material. The heat affected zone caused by heat conduction and convection is analyzed in terms of the zone size and intensity of the temperature gredients. The results can provide references for the cold-preservation in practical engineering.(4) The basic structure of small tanks used for the cryogenic liquefied-gas tank-truck is introduced and strength check in various conditions is carried out. When the volume need to be increased, strength and cold preservation is a pair of contradictions on the structural requirements. In order to meet the requirements of these two aspects, in this thesis, a new type structure is put forward and the strength of the new structure is checked.
