Gas explosion is one of the major malignant accident in the coal mine, how to reduce the gas explosion accidents bring personnel casualty and property loss, and how to effectively control them, has the most significance to the coal mine safety production.In order to study the propagation regulation of the gas explosion toxic and harmful gas in non-combustion zone, it has constructed a square pipe of 80mm×80mm section and the total length is 20.9m. Through the experiment obtained that the different concentrations of gas explosion in the closed tunnels relation with the poisonous and harmful gas concentration; Then blow analysis by adjusting the initial velocity with toxic or harmful gases in the pipe explosion produce, preliminarily obtained that the relationship with gas explosion spread of poisonous and harmful gas concentration, concentration of gas explosion and the wind speed by analyzing the concentration of the marked points and peak change research, and the experiment preliminarily get the propagation distance of the poisonous and harmful gas concentration in the gas explosion accidents is positively proportional with the gas explosion concentration, but it is inversely proportional with the wind speed.On the basis of the above experiment, with the selection of FLUENT software as the simulate software, based on the above factors to computer simulation. By comparing and contrast analyzing on the results of numerical simulation and experimental results, got involved in the explosion of gas concentration and the wind speed effect on explosion in the process of the propagation of CO. Research analysis shows that, on the basis of pipe(or roadway) experiments, the numerical simulation method as a supplement, and it can better reflect the propagation characteristics of CO in the gas explosion. It is provided a guiding role that gas explosion prevention and consequences analysis in the results of the study on the propagation process of CO in the gas explosion in the current coal mine.
