| In some sense, the clothing can be treated as a representative of society, which not only reflects all aspects of social life, but also reflects the society. Any kind of social phenomenon, art school or ideological trend will have certain effect on the development of clothing. After entering the 20 th century, with the improvement of living standard, spiritual aesthetic becomes the mainstream. The clothing trends are more and more diverse. Deconstruction has been widely applied to clothing design. Deconstructive clothing, with its unique appearance and special cultural concept, broadens our horizon, opens our minds, and shocks the fashion industry.Ever since its birth, dress plays a unique role in the field of clothing. It can be treated as the queen of clothing. The history of clothing can be regarded as the history of women’s dress. From the initial boredom decoration to innovation, dress has proved its unmatched power with its unending changes. Research on women’s clothing roots in the study of dress. With the application of the famous deconstruction style, the original structure and concept of dress are broken up and then reassembled to form a new structure.Thus, this report aims to study the innovation of deconstruction in the designing of dresses. This report also shows how to apply deconstruction successfully and at the same time achieve innovation in the case studies of dress design.Firstly, this report shows the background and design connotation of deconstruction. Secondly this report has an in detail review about some famous eastern and western clothing design masters and their dress design cases. Through an in-depth analysis of the design theory, design methods from different approaches, this report summarizes how innovative deconstruction can be applied in four different aspects of dress design: structure, color, pattern and material. This report can be a theoretical guidance for deconstruction-based innovative dress design cases in the future. |
