Research And Application On New Word Discovery And Hot Word Ranking For Food Security

In recent years, accidents involving food safety have frequently occurred in China, however, there is so much information and disinformation in this area that we cannot distinguish its authenticity. It will seriously affect the public’s trust to supervision department if the government cannot deal with the problems as soon as possible. Words are important carriers of information dissemination, and they can show us the hotpot network information briefly. Having a detailed understanding of the keywords about food safety can help to improve the efficiency of network public opinion detection. It can have a great significance for supervision department to make timely response and ensure the food quality.The work related to this paper is based on project of 12 th Five-Year Plan. This paper develop a network hot words detection system for food security supervision, and this system depends on the functions of data mining, public opinion analysis and visualization rendering which is belong to agricultural areas. As one of the major subsystems, it can provide a reference for the agricultural public opinion monitoring system to get information and more intuitive data analysis.After studying the present situation of related topics, in this paper, combine the business needs of agricultural public opinion monitoring systems and propose a new word discovery method based on statistics and rules, as well as a hot words ranking algorithm based on user votes. In the field of food safety, in order to ensure the accuracy of the new words discoveries, we use the feature extraction based on inner combination degrees and boundary freedom degrees. At the same time, this paper is focuses on the sensitivity in regards to time, and using Newton’s law of cooling to construct the hot words ranking algorithm. Then implement the public opinion monitoring module of the system, and achieved a good effect.In summary, for the problems of food safety, this paper proposes a new word discovery method based on inner combination degrees and boundary freedom degrees and a ranking algorithm based on Newton’s law of cooling. At last, design and implement a system which can provide services of visual analysis and retrieval for food security supervision department, and the system has great value for practical application.
