The aromatic folding pattern is one of the most important research directions in the field of supramolecular chemistry. In the past few decades, the access to efficient synthesis of aromatic macrocycles has attracted increasing attentions due to their demonstrated and many other potential applications. One-pot H-bonding-assisted macrocyclization strategy has been recenly elaborated that has become the dominant method for the rapid construction of H-bonded macrocyclic foldamers of various structures; Simulating biological ion channels and through the cavity of aromatic folding pattern to recognize ion,which is more important.The water of the electrolytic process including two electrode reaction: hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction. Water oxidation is considered a major bottleneck due to its four protons and four electrons process and the uphill thermodynamics. The researchers found that electrolysis of water will be about a quarter of the energy wasted in overcome electrode over potential, especially on the anodic over potential. In order to improve the conversion rate, people are more focused on the study of oxygen catalyst. At present the molecular water oxidation catalysts mainly based on precious metals such as Ru and Ir,and have been widely investigated. However, catalysts made by earth abundant metals such as Fe、Mn、Cu、Co are relatively limited. So developing highly efficient water oxidation catalysts in future is very important for large scale application.The main works in the thesis are described below:①In order to identify a suitable macrocyclization reagent for one-pot synthesis of macrocyclic aromatic hexamers., we screened various condensation reagents. Unexpectedly we find that HATU and DMAP is a macrocyclization reagent for highly selective one-pot synthesis of strained macrocyclic aromatic hexamers. Through a series of experiments, we have investigated the effects of temperature, time, solvent, Lewis base, monomer concentration, concentration of HATU and DMAP on the one-pot macrocyclization reaction, and have successfully obtained the optimal conditions and got the highest yield of up to 58%;At the same time were characterized by 1HNMR, HRMS, 2D-NOESY and simulation calculation method, The aromatic folding pattern is a highly symmetric and approximate plane macrocyclic aromatic hexamer.②This paper design the synthesis of a dinuclear complexes based on Co, having a good electrocatalytic activity in alkaline condition. The oxygen evolution potential is1.48 V vs NHE, these results are comparable to previously reports. And it will be a good oxygen catalyst in the future.
