Rubber material is widely used in many fields that not only has high elasticity, wear resistance, aging resistance and other excellent properties, but the price is low. However,most of the rubber products are used in the complicated, it will be affected by different degree of aging and wear in the process of using, the use performance and life of rubber products are greatly reduced. In recent years, a large number of studies have found at home and abroad, Rubber material of performance and service life could be improved by adding rare earth oxide, Inner Mongolia has rich resources of cerium, rare earth cerium oxide(Ce O2) filled vulcanized natural rubber, the study on its performance, not only has the use of value engineering, but also economic value.This article researched the influence of cerium oxide on aging resistance, dynamic mechanical properties and fatigue properties of vulcanized natural rubber. The main content as follows:Dynamic mechanics performance test by DMA of Cerium oxide filled vulcanized natural rubber, the results show that cerium oxide had significant effect on the dynamic mechanical property of vulcanized natural rubber, it has the biggest energy storage modulus and loss modulus which has 6 copies of nanometer cerium oxide, its damping performance is best when filled 6 copies of microns cerium oxide; the aging resistance can be improve better adding microns cerium oxide of vulcanization natural rubber; the elastic properties and damping properties increased with increase of frequency. Then three different formulations of vulcanized natural rubber material were made in uniaxial cyclic fatigue test, the results show that thermal aging rapidly reduce the life of the rubber material, cerium oxide can improve the fatigue life of natural rubber, and filled micron cerium oxide is better.Uniaxial tensile test of the cerium oxide filled vulcanized natural rubber specimen and predict storage life by Arrhenius equation. The results show that the stress- strain curve has emerged as a non-linear relationship of three rubber material, and cerium oxide makes elongation at break and tensile strength have been improved to varying degrees of vulcanized natural rubber; the storage life was improved has cerium oxide of vulcanized natural rubber, and filled 6 copies of nanometer cerium oxide is better, improved 5.13 years, when filled 6 copies of microns cerium oxide increased 0.83 years.Wear test of cerium oxide filled vulcanized natural rubber, the results show that: thewear resistance is best, when filled two parts nanometer cerium oxide of vulcanized natural rubber; and when filled six parts micron cerium oxide. The wear volume of each stage with increase of filled nanometer cerium oxide content and increased, wear resistance decreased; but, the wear volume of each stage with increase of filled micron cerium oxide content and decreased, wear resistance increased.
