Geological Evaluation of Coalbed Methane and The Classification of Coalbed methane blocks is the foundation of reasonable development of coalbed methane, The work is of great significance and complexity is strong. In this process,A number of factors that affect the generate 、storage、migration and drainage of Coalbed Methane should be considered, This factors mainly include geological structure、hydrogeololgy、coal reservoir property、gas content and so on.Basised on the research results of other researchers, A suitable“quantitative and qualitative research” evaluation system that can be used in “The Classification research of Coalbed methane blocks for Yuwu Coal Mine” be found. In the foundation of regional and gas fields structure research, especially research law of gas geology、hydrogeological characteristics、coal structure、coal reservoir characteristics and the factors affecting gas content, The main influence factors in Yuwu Coal Mine that control the Classification of Coalbed methane blocks have been found : geological structure、hydrogeololgy and gas content.Depend on the results of analysis aboved, with the help of Autocad and Arcgis software, thickness of overlying rock classification figure、geological structure buffer figure、gas content classification figure、coal seam roof and floor 10 m total thickness of sandstone classification figure and so on were drew. after this, give the weight and overlay analysis these figures, After all of these work, the Classification of Coalbed methane blocks be made successfully.
