With the expanding of mining depth and intensity, the threat of gas explosion and outburst in Daning mine field is increasing day by day.In order to alleviate the situation of seriously gas disaster, the efficient method is develop coal-bed methane.Well, geological condition evaluation is the first step in the process of develop CBM.On the basis of collecting the detailed date of the 3# coal seam in Daning mine field, combined with regional structure, mine geology,source-reservoir-enrichment of CBM and its occurrence regularity.the paper fine describes the geological characteristics of coal reservoir, studies the important coal reservoir parameters such as coal pore structure, adsorption desorption characteristics, gas content, storage reservoir pressure, permeability and in-situ stress etc and regional distribution law and influence factors of them. Finally,On the basis of detailedly analysing the parameters of coal reservoir, this paper has divided Daning mine field to seven blocks, then quantitative calculated control parameter which influence the evaluation result of seven block, through evaluation methods of “multilevel analysis+fuzzy mathematics”.According to the calculation results, the optimal order is made that the 7 blocks of CBM development potential.ranking results is 3?2?6?4?5?1?7.At last, the paper has been completed classification of Daning mine field block, and classification results:2 and 3 unit are favorable coalbed methane extraction block,4 and 6 unit are relatively favorable coalbed methane extraction block,5 unit is common coalbed methane extraction block,1 and 7 unit belong to low coalbed methane extraction block. At the same time,CBM development-map has been drawn.
