As an important chemical raw material, Ammonia is widely used in fertilizer manufacturing, oil refining, pharmaceuticals, leather and other industries. Companies often use the physical method to make it in a liquefied state to keep it can be convenient for storage and transportation. Ammonia leak accident in ammonia production, storage and transport and other processes often lead companies suffered huge economic losses, it is also accompanied with the loss of life and property of internal personnel staff and adjacent areas, and also cause the irreversible damage to the ecological environment. Ammonia leak is widely known because of its toxicity, fire and explosion hazard. In this paper, take the Shuifu company’s ammonia storage tank area as a research subject, and the research and analysis includes the following four points:(1)Through the investigation and data collection of Yun tian hua shuifu Group and analysisingthe risk factors caused by Ammonia leak such as Tank corrosion, pipe and valve damage, then use the fault tree analysis method to analysis the factors that caused ammonia and get the minimum cut sets, the minimum path sets and each factor structure important degree which caused ammonia leak. Through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of various hazards in liquid ammonia,we can guide enterprises to provide an effective methods to preventing accidents ammonia leak, and also enable enterprises have more scientific level in the safety technology and safety management of the ammonia.(2)According to the geographical climate conditions of the study object such as set up several different wind speed, by using the commercial CFD software which is widely used in fluent numerical simulation method to analysis the liquid ammonia tank leakage diffusion concentration time change law of quantitative forecast the enterprise liquid ammonia tank leakage. And the results of theoretical calculation are compared with the theoretical calculation. Obtained under various wind conditions of lethal area, seriously injured area, wound area distance.(3) Based on the proposed of the fluent liquid ammonia tank leakage and diffusion in non-enclosed area.with the widely used poison quantitative assessment formula, simulate the static and evacuation poisoning in the process of quantitative evaluation method. We can get the probability of liquid ammonia leak diffusion range of hazards in the personnel still acute poisoning death and close evacuation process in acute poisoning death.(4) Combined with analysis of risk factors of liquid ammonia tank and numerical diffusion simulation results, given a reasonable layout ammonia gas detection alarm instrument, to make it In line with the gas leakage and diffusion rules, the need of the location of the key to monitoring, we can detect the risk factors leading to leakage. Providing guidance to the optimization of ammonia leakage detection for the enterprises.
