In recent years, more and more coal preparation plant has been using separation process to manage coarse slime. For the coarse slime separation equipment has strict requirements on the material size, grading homework is needed before the separation of coarse slime. Existing coarse slime grading equipment includes hydrocyclone, inclined plate classifier, pyramid precipitation pool, scuttle sludge pit, slime centrifugal sifter and the electromagnetic vibrating vortex sieve. They exist some shortcomings, such as grading size is not strict, screening efficiency is low, and the processing capacity is too small, it’s not very good to complete coarse slime classification.In this paper, a new grading sieve is designed thanks to the structural characteristics、working principle and technological process of the existing coarse slime classification equipment and water screen,in order to provide a strict grading、high screening efficiency and high processing capacity equipment with high-quality for coal preparation plant.Firstly, this paper has carried on the comprehensive analysis of the existing coarse slime grading sieve and water sieve’s present research situation. And then used a variety of design methods and software of CAD、ADAMS, expounded the design process of water box slime grading vibration sieve, drawed the grading sieve structure diagram, selected the main components of the model at the same time, provided the technical guidance of a full set of test model, manufacturing installation. And then, on the basis of the principle of the water and the relevant theory of the water screen, the main factors that affect the screening effect of the water are summarized. Based on this. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the water box slime grading vibration sieve grading process factors, simple to do the motion analysis and dynamic analysis. Finally, used test model to experimental study, used Excel software to analyze the data at the same time, demonstrates the relationship between various influencing factors of grading sieve and the classification effect of grading sieve, makes a conclusion on the regularity of box type slurry vibration classification screen several underwater, provides the data and theoretical support for the optimization design of grading sieve.Experiments indicated that underwater box-type slurry vibration classification screen has a series of merits, such as strict size grading, big unit area processing ability and higher screening efficiency compared with the existing grading sieve, has great application value in the market.
