Automotive electrical equipment is being developed toward the direction of precision and high-efficiency, whose performance directly affects the vehicle's quality and reliability. A successful vibration reliability test can ensure an accurate measurement of the quality of the electrical equipment and improve its performance. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the research of vibration test for automotive electrical systems, especially, the research of the design method of the key equipment - vibration test fixture.The structural design of the fixtures for vibration reliability test of a SRV vehicle is the main line. Firstly, the development conditions of electrical equipment vibration test are reviewed. A vibration reliability test program was developed under the consideration of the requirement of this study, as well as theoretical basis for the design and development status of vibration test fixture that commonly used in engineering. The advantages and disadvantages of these theories in the case of today's rapid technological development are also discussed. Then, according to the theory of vibration and technological development of structural dynamic design, with the theory of modal analysis and finite element analysis techniques being applied to the design of vibration test fixture , the theoretical basis for material selection of fixture by studying being raised and a variety of features of fixtures manufacturing and connectivity being analyzed, the initial structure models of fixture system of the vibration test were built based on the overall layout of the automotive electrical system. The structure optimization model with the structural weight and frequency as the responses was established. First, the initial structural model by topology optimization approach was obtained, and then size optimization was made for the structure based on sensitivity analysis of the various components of the structure. Modal analysis of the best structural model obtained from the above analysis was carried out. Finally, experimental modal analysis was committed to verify the effectiveness of design program.In the design process of the fixture for vibration test of the electrical system, the structural design cycle of the vibration test fixture was summarized, including structural selection, conceptual design, size optimization, defect remedy. The fixtures manufactured by machining drawings draw out by the CAD software have been put into use.Through the study of this project, a series of methods and theories of the design and experiment of the fixture for vibration test were formed, which laid a solid foundation for the further work in this topic.
