Development And Industrial Application Of The Transparent Homopolymerization Polypropylene J902F

With the continuous expansion of the scope of application of transparent polypropylene,the demand for transparent PP resin is growing quietly, which has become attracting in domestic polypropylene resin market and with huge market prospects for development. For this purpose, Jirun division of Luoyang Petrochemical Company have invested enormous manpower and material resources into the special research and developed the industrial production for transparent homo-polypropyleneJ902 F.This paper first expounded the high performance application of transparent polypropylene, production technology and the types of transparent nucleating agent applications, as well as the progress of the transparent modifier, domestic and international development situation and trend of the transparent polypropylene. Through experimental research, the paper simultaneously analyzed the preparation methods and factors which influences properties ofJ902 F, and proposed optimization measures. Finally, the paper introduced the technical difficulties that existed in the J902 F industrial production along with technological measures to tackle these problems, and put forward the production plan and process conditions on the basis of experimental research. At the same time, the product performance and social economic benefit were evaluated and estimated.Results showed that the transparent polypropylene resin was produced by taking use of nucleating agent can achieve the goal of industrialization of design products, which through improved production process conditions and polymerization catalyst system, melt flow rate(MFR) quality was controlled between 18 ~ 22 g/min, isotactic index was controlled between 95% ~ 96%, the content of nucleating agent was 0.25% ~ 0.30%, the amount of acid agent according to transparency, fisheye, glossiness and polypropylene ash and other technical indicators. At the same time, polymerization and granulation section production were running smoothly, and performance indicators of production fully met the user’s requirements and industry standards.
