The wetland in Panjin Shuangtaizi estuary is a unique ecosystem of Liaohe River Delta. Estuarine intertidal beach has a good ecological adjustment function and plays an extremely important role in the regulation of river runoff, especially in the regulation of river runoff, the improvement of environment pollution and maintenance of ecological balance and habitat for migratory birds, etc. As the river basin improves the pace of urbanization, there is a serious shortage of land for industrial, agricultural and urban development, which leads to many industrial migrating to coastal zone land and form in the natural sea, coastal tidal flats and mudflats land reclamation.This phenomenon causes threats to the wetland ecological environmt and makes the function of wetland area greatly reduced and causes degradation, vegetation withering, desertification and habitat imbalance phenomenon.This thesis is based on the governance restoration project of "The coastal wetland Panjin Shuangtaizi estuary vegetation restoration and reconstruction". It selects the Shuangtaizi estuary coastal wetland vegetation in degraded areas as the research object and builds wetland health evaluation index system of ecological environment with combinations of landscape ecology and wetland ecosystem relevant theories and research methods. The system is used to evaluate the Shuangtaizi estuary coastal wetland vegetation restoration area. Primary coverage of the dissertation is as follows:1. Through the comparative analysis to satellite remote-sensing images of the reed and red Suaeda thrives in the Shuangtaizi estuary coastal wetland vegetation restoration area, the vegetation coverage has increased from 43.02% to 84.88%.2. The site of the experimental plot is selected by field survey, the evaluation system of wetland ecological and environmental health is constructed by 28 index such as water and sediment environment, biological environment, vegetation restoration and so on. The environment character is analyzed during the selection of the index.3. The weight of each index is determined by the special geographical position of the wetland restoration area. The wetland restoration area ecological environment health is divided into three levels,health, sub-health and unhealthy through analytic hierarchy process (AHP).4. The AHP is used to evaluate the influence degree of each index on the wetland ecological environment. It is determined that the wetland environment health status is mainly affected by the composition of water ecological environment, community structure and the service function of change.In the research, the wetland vegetation restoration effect is remarkable. Before the repairing, damaged wetland habitat health value is 60.74 and after the repairing the habitat health value is 86.64, which has reached the state of health. The health degree of the repairing area has been improved stablely. This thesis provides the technical support to follow-up of panjin wetland restoration and provides the scientific basis for wetland protection and management.
