With the rapid increase of population and the development of urban construction, the urban water supply is increasing. The problem that sewage water can not reach the standard has became more and more obvious. And the sewage treatment project has a guiding and conditionality role to the development of city as the critical infrastructure of city.Fukang City is a serious water shortage area, the downstream of existing sewage treatment were wasteland. After the status quo of sewage treatment process can not achieve the quality standards of agricultural irrigation water. Therefore it was decided to transform the sewage treatment plant. It is very essential to maximize the use of limited water resources through the irrigation of urban sewage treatment.The range is designed mainly for wastewater treatment plant transformation from primary to secondary treatment process, treated water according to the wastewater treatment plant at the same time, increasing the agricultural irrigation system. The sewage treatment project target is the general urban sewage, the main wastewater composition is aewage, BOD5: COD = 0.50. For the average urban sewage, BOD5: COD> 0.3, considered suitable for biological treatment method, Fukang city sewage could be considered conventional biological treatment methods.The expansion project includes: pumping station renovation, alteration between grille, grit chamber transformation, the new selecting pool, Carrousel oxidation ditch, sludge pumping station, sludge dewatering room, factory disinfect drains, points sluice chamber, grit chamber transformation, grill room. The original sewage go into the plant grille of sewage treatment, in this intercept sewage impurities and then enter the grit chamber to remove sand, re-entering the oxidation ditch biological treatment section to remove BOD5, TN and part of P, oxidation ditch effluent after secondary sedimentation tank sedimentation clarification after the water drains through the UV disinfection disinfection emissions. The return sludge was sent to the oxidation ditch with energy supplied by pump. The surplus sludge was sent to the conditioning tank. After sludge were dewatered into a cake by dewatering machine, then centralized storage and Sinotrans.The reform project has effectively improved the water supply capacity of city, ensured the safety of water supply quality, produced good social and environmental benefits.
