In the manufacturing process of auto industry, especially in spray painting, a lot of spray painting wastewater and cooling water from air compressor will be generated. If emitted directly, it will not only cause environmental pollution, also lower the utilization rate of water resources. If the water treated is reused as industrial circulating cooling water, it will, on the one hand, reduce the demand of tap water of industrial enterprises, thus reducing enterprises’cost; on the other hand, it also reduce the waste of water resources and the impact to the environment for sewage discharging, which are of great practical significance to build a resource conserving and environment friendly society, to complete energy-saving emission reduction targets successfully, to achieve sustainable development of economy and society and the harmonious development of man and nature.According to the quality of automobile spray painting water, this paper first comparative analyzes the difference between automobile spray painting reclaimed water and circulating cooling water. After water stable index calculation judgement and practical actual maintenance situation, it is confirmed that the automobile spray painting reclaimed water is typically scaling water; The dynamic simulation test studies the characteristics and the changing regularity of reclaimed water and the effects of corrosion, fouling and bacterial growth to the circulating cooling water system when the automotive painting water is reused in it; Laboratory scale sample analysis locates that the constituents of spray painting reclaimed water scale contain calcium scale, magnesium scale and microbial slime; Limit concentration ratio test sieves suitable water treatment chemicals (single component chemical TH-615 and composite component chemical PBTCA/A2000=1:1) to increase the circulating cooling water system’s operation concentration ratio from less than 2.0 to 3.0 and stabilize the system operation. To deal with the problem, the reasonable controlling countermeasures will be put forward to control the harm and to provide the reference for the safe and stable operation of the circulating cooling water system.
