Ultra-high-speed grinding is one of the modern processing technology that can efficient and economical manufacture high quality parts. The ultra-high-speed grinding is able to significantly improve the surface quality and increase the productivity, and at the same time it can be used to the precious machining of difficult materials such as brittle metal and viscous materials, and it can significantly cut down the processing costs and curtail the production cycle.The ultra-high-speed grinding,owning to its higher precision and efficient,is meeting the demand of modern manufacturing process.But,the grinding thermal is high and it has a great effect on the grinding performance and even affect the service life of the workpiece and grinding wheel.Therefore,it is important to study the temperature field in the grinding area.In this paper, the research achievement of ultra-high-speed grinding technology and temperature field are briefly presented domestically and abroad,and made theoretically analysis to grinding force and grinding hot in the grinding process. Then carry on the simulation and analysis to the temperature field of grinding area by ANSYS software.The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:First, this thesis simply analyzes the single grain grinding force and the total grinding force, and at the same time analyzes the influence of the wheel speed on the grinding force.Second,this thesis briefly describes the grinding temperature in the grinding field,and the temperature field of grinding area of the single grain grinding and of the surface grinding are analyzed to determine the form of heat source in the surface grinding situation.Then.it analyzes the heat percentage to workpiece.Third,this thesis establishes the geometry model,meshing and realized the moving of the heat source to simulation the temperature field in surface grinding area.Then,we carry the simulation on the model,and acquire wheel speed conducts the impact occurred on the temperature field of grinding area and obtain the distribute condition of the temperature under the surface.At last,the thesis according to the result of theory research and simulation on the grinding force and the temperature field of grinding area some conclusion are reached,and then makes recommendations for the next research.This paper analyzes effect of the wheel speed on the grinding force and the temperature field of grinding and reach some conclusion.This findings improve the basic theory of ultra-high-speed grinding process.
