Pyrite concentrate by flotation of Zijinshan copper-gold ore tailings was due to the problem of low-grade gold,which would cause that the gold could not get effective comprehensive utilization and waste the gold resources, therefore, exploring a reasonable flotation recovery technology to recycle gold effectively and to meet the requirements of technical economy at the same time, is of great significance to improve the production efficiency.Technological mineralogy properties analyzes of Zijinshan gold-copper ore tailings and concentrate were analyzed, including levels of useful and harmful components, compositions and characteristics in all kinds of mineral, disseminated extent of sulfur, gold and main gangue minerals, state of useful elements and so on.On tailings, effects of type and dosage of the activator and collector, the comparison of index between on-site pharmacy system and optimized pharmacy system, the comparison of index between on-site process and embranchment floatation process on grade increasing in concentrate were investigated.The results showed that, The best pharmacy system for rough selection process included combination sulfuric acid with copper sulfate as an activator, in which the dosageswere1000g/t and 200g/t, respectively,combinationY-89 with dibutyl dithiophosphate as a collector, in which the dosages were 12.5g/t and 25g/t, the dosage of scavenging agent was by half, the copper tailings flotation process included a rough selection, a selection, a scavenger flotation, and sequential returning of middling. Closed-circuit test was carried out based on open circuit, eventually, the grade and recovery of the gold in the concentrate reached 1.07g/t and 36.31%, respectively, which increased by 0.36 g/t and 5.39%than those of closed-circuit test in on-site process, respectively, and the grade of gold in concentrate is greater than 1 g/t, which reached the industry valuation.On sulphureous concentrate containing gold by separation of the copper tailings, nelson test of gravity separation for gravity separation and flotation were carried out separately, flotation including test of concentrate regrinding, test of type and dosage of reagent removal, depressor and collector, the effects on improving the grade of gold in the flotation were checked.The results showed that, the contents of elements were similar in concentrate and tailings by nelson test, basically having no gold enrichment, when the grinding fineness was 45 μm with a content of 85%, the dosage of sodium sulphide, sodium thiosulfate and ethyl xanthate were 100g/t,300 g/t and 20g/t, respectively, the grade and recovery of the gold in the concentrate reached 1.98g/t and 14.09%, respectively.This research reinforces the recycling process of gold in copper tailings of Zijinshan copper-gold ore, which has a certain guiding significance for comprehensive recycling of gold in copper tailings of low-grade gold.
