Abstract:The issue that present tobacco leaves curing inefficiently is on account of the existing model that tobacco leaves hang pole bulk curing which is restricted by equipment and procedures. In this article, we take leaning-type-air-distributing-plate, biomass fuel stove and biomass fuel in place of the traditional tobacco leaves hang pole curing, tunnel furnace and coal, respectively. The results of experiment are as follows:1.Comparing with traditional hang pole curing, the model that leaning-type-air-distributing-plate loose-leaf bulk curing can increase average total weight of every curing from 3002.62kg to 6025.81kg with rate of 100.75%, and the total costs of work force and power are decreased by 0.48 yuan/kg and 0.42 yuan/kg, respectively. The costs of curing is decreased by 0.90 yuan/kg, and original curing tobacco leaves’ average value is increased by 1.05 yuan/kg, and the economic value of every curing is increased 11967.83 yuan with rate of 121.81%. The level of reducing sugar, total carbohydrate, total nitrogen, nicotine, potassium, ratio of carbohydrate and nicotine, ratio of nitrogen and nicotine are all in proper ranges, moreover, chemical components are more harmonious, therefore, tobacco leaves mostly have a high smocking quality score, more strong light-sweet flavor, better fineness and permeability, as well as comfortable aftertaste.2. Optimized curing procedure of leaning-type-air-distributing-plate and the replacement of coal by biomass fuel has shortened the curing time of upper leaves, middle leaves, lower leaves by 36.28 h,27.69 h,27.61 h, the total costs by 0.36 yuan/kg,0.41 yuan/kg,0.24 yuan/kg, respectively.Therefore, such measures can reduce the costs, cured tobacco leaves’ chemical components are all in proper ranges with good harmonious, and cured tobacco leaves’ smoking quality are amount to the group of control.As is shown by the results, leaning-type-air-distributing-plate loose-leaf bulk curing can replace traditional hang pole curing, because of its effectively reducing of curing costs, increasing average price and economic value of every curing, more harmonious of chemical components, more superior of smoking quality. Due to the replacement of traditional coal by optimized procedure of leaning-type-air-distributing-plate loose-leaf bulk curing and the application of biomass fuel, the curing time can be reduced averagely more than 27.69h, meanwhile, such measures can averagely reduce the costs of loose-leaf bulk curing more than 0.24 yuan/kg under the condition of harmonious chemical components and good smoking quality. As a consequence, the achievements we obtained above can be popularized and applied in plantations of Longyan to effectively promote the strategies of saving labor force and energy, improving quality and efficiency. Finally, we make some prospects for further study of loose-leaf bulk curing.
