The chemical industry has energy consumption, high pollution levels, it produces high salinity and high concentrations of organic wastewater, the water is not stable and very difficult to deal with. Through the research on the two levels of biochemical effluent from a chemical enterprise in Hebei Province, the experimental study on the coagulation sedimentation, ozone oxidation and biological aerated filter was carried out. The operation parameters were optimized and the combined process was determined by the combined process of coagulation + ozone oxidation + biological aerated filter(GB8978-1996). The experimental results are as follows:(1) Optimal control conditions for coagulation is: PAC coagulant dosing quantity is 0.75 g/L, coagulant aid PAM dosing quantity of 10 mg/L, the initial pH of 8, under the condition of the settling time for 30 min, the COD and SS removal rate can reach 44.648.2% and 76.281.4%, SS concentration standards; NH4+-N removal is not obvious, the removal rate is only 9.411.4%;(2) Optimal control conditions for ozone oxidation is: Ozone exposure time is 60 min, O3 feeding amount is 0.75 g/L, B/C value of the waste water being treatment increased from 0.1 to 0.27 had improved the biodegradability, Ozonation had good removal efficiencies for COD and NH4+-N is 48% and 8% and chroma removal to 50 degrees;(3) Optimal control conditions for aeration biological filter is: Aeration biological filter for 3h in HRT, gas water ratio of 3:1, the removal rate of COD, NH4+-N were 63% and 50% respectively;(4) Joint process under the best operation condition, the removal rate of COD, ammonia nitrogen and SS were 88%, 66% and 86.3%, water colour below 50 degrees, significantly improve the wastewater quality, meet the integrated wastewater discharge(GB8978-1996) level of emission standards.
