This study attempts to solve the following three problems:the common Commelina communis (collected from the non mining area and without domesticated) on soil copper tolerance and accumulation ability; the response mechanism of Commelina communis to the copper polluted environment; the feasibility of remediation of copper contaminated soil by common Commelina communis. We did the experiment of adding copper to two kinds of soil and then planted the Commelina Communis. By observing the likelihood of Commelina communis, analyzing its nutrient contents and copper contents, and analyzing the copper forms of Commelina communis planted oil. The result present that, the added copper affect the above-mentioned contents obviously. Commelina growth, physiological index and soil copper content also affect the morphology of copper in soil and soil properties. The Copper stress was stronger in acid soils. The pot experiment and the analyzing presents that:(1) when the copper concentration is lower than 200 mg/Kg, the common Commelina communis on soil copper tolerance and accumulation ability is well. The copper accumulation in Commelina communis is maximizing when is 50 mg/kg.When copper concentration is high, the copper stress effect is more obvious, and the Commelina communis’s copper tolerance and accumulation capability will lessen. The Commelina communis’s copper enrichment of tolerance and ability is limited, when the copper concentration higher than 50 mg/kg, plant gradually weakened until death, but that does not deny its copper contaminated soil in low concentration and enrichment of the resistance of the copper. (2) Commelina communis resist the heavy metal toxicity by increasing the enzyme activity and chlorophyll content in the body, or to absorb more nutrients in order to make itself more luxuriant to improve the tolerance of plants on the copper polluted environment. (3)As the growth of exogenous copper’s concentration, the trend of the weak acid soluble copper and the available copper content are the same. So the weak acid soluble copper has great significance to the effective copper content. When the adding copper concentration is 50mg/Kg, the distribution of weak acid soluble copper in soil is minimum(19.4%).It proves that Commelina communis which planted under the condition of not very serious copper polluted, not only can absorb the copper to bioremediation in soil effect, but also could translate the copper in the soil to the form that hardly absorbed by the plant to reduce soil pollution.protect the soil ecological environment, reduce the purpose of copper in soil by the harm to crops. It could reduce the damage of copper in the soil to the crops. From what has been discussed above, the restoration of copper polluted in moisture soil by the common Commelina communis is high, The Commelina communis can survival under the copper concentration of 500 mg/Kg, also could absorb and transform the available copper. In a way, the restoration of copper polluted in red soil by the common Commelina communis is low, and the plants can not survival. So it means not much to the restoration of high copper polluted in red soil...
