Metal spinning is a kind of forming technology which can easily process metal blanks into symmetrical thin-wall rotary parts, refering to different technologies such as extrusion, bending and rolling. Due to the advantages of good deformation condition, wide range of products, small size of tolerance and high material utilization, the technology is widely used in aviation, defense and civil fields.Complex curvilinear generatrix parts to be the study object, SPHC steel to be the material, this research is mainly about key technical problems like establishment of finite element simulation model, properties of spinning metal deformation, plan of multi-pass roller path and mechanism of variable feed spinning forming.On the basis of ANSYS/LSDYNA (explicit dynamics), multi-pass spinning model of critical components was built. The accuracy of the model has been verified through spinning processing experiments, which is the foundation of the subsequent spinning researches on pass plan and parameterized variable feed.Concepts including bending amount, bending velocity and equivalent angle of metal deformation are proposed in this thesis. Under the condition of constant bending velocity and feeding speed respectively, feed rate and bending velocity corresponding to three kinds of curve contour forming are studied. Meanwhile, relationship of extension ratio to equivalent angle and bending amount are also studied. In addition, the research has preliminarily explored the mechanism of parameterized variable feed spinning forming with constant bending velocity, which is the basis of the subsequent researches.A kind of multi-pass path plan method is proposed in this thesis, which is on the basis of bending amount allocation and concave curve. According to numerical simulation, the phenomenon that bending allocation and spinning forming quality link closely has been found. At the same time, the relationship between bending amount allocation and spinning forming quality has been researched,results show that at the same passes,the pass plan method based on same bending amount allocation control spinning force and wall thickness better,also cost less time, which lays the foundation of the manufactural application of the multi-pass path plan method with same bending amount allocation.The deformation properties with constant bending velocity and multi-pass variable feed is studied with the help of finite element simulation. Under the condition of the same processing efficiency, the influence of parameterized variable feed and constant feed on spinning forming quality is also studied. Conclusions show that with the same efficiency, processing with parameterized variable feed in the final pass can obviously restrain springback, reduce contour deviation, improve forming accuracy and control spinning force, which lays the foundation of the manufactural application of the parameterized variable feed spinning process with constant bending velocity.
