| Antibiotic is a metabolite of bacteria, mycete or other microorganism. Or it is a synthetic analogue. It is a kind of chemical substances that can control microorganism selectively. Antibiotic wastewater is a kind of high concentrated and degradation-resistant organic wastewater with complex composition, biological toxicity and a variety of biological inhibitor. For the antibiotic wastewater, the value of COD is high and the biodegradability is low. Now it has poor effect and needs long time to treat the wastewater only by biological methods. Antibiotic wastewater was pretreated by microwave-Fenton method and an equipment of pretreatment was designed in this text to increase the biodegradability.This paper conducted an intermittent experiment study on the pretreatment of antibiotic wastewater by microwave-Fenton method. The COD and biodegradability were selected as the main controlling factors in the experiment and the effect of the microwave power, intial pH, reaction time, the dosage of FeSO4 · 7H2O and H2O2 and irradiation time were analyzed. The results showed that the treatment of the antibiotic wastewater with 22000mg/L COD by microwave-Fenton method increased the biodegradability obviously. The removal rate of COD was 27.33% and the biodegradability raised from 0.12 up to 0.419.On the base of intermittent experiment study, the mechanisms of microwave-Fenton and technical specification and experiment parameters, the pilot equipment of microwave-Fenton integration is designed and developed. The effect of the equipment on the different concentration of water is researched in the experiment. The effect of microwave on Fenton is also researched. The results showed that the effect of pretreatment on the low concentrated water is better than that on the high concentrated water. Microwave can strengthen the effect of Fenton. The removal rate of COD was 48.29% and the biodegradability raised to 0.508. Many suggestions for further improvement were proposed, which can provide certain basis for the field fabrication of the pretreated equipment on antibiotic wastewater.The benefit of the comprehensive pretreatment equipment was evaluated. The result showed that this equipment was technically feasible and had high economic values. The microwave-Fenton equipment with flow rate of 500L/h was designed, and the equipment could be applied to a variety of fields such as high-concentrated wastewater. |
