For its high rate of quantity and price, plastic has begun important metal.Meanwhile, the requirements of the mechanical and optical performance of plastic products have become more sophisticated, the residual stress generated by injection molding process is the key factor leading to the quality problems. Therefore, how to simulate and measure the residual stress in injection molding products should be focus on.In this dissertation, by taking the feeding bucket of Juicer and blender of noodle maker made in PC as examples, measuring residual stress method of injection molding products are studied by using the means of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experimental verification. The main work and results are as follows:(1) According to the actual structure of the mold, reasonable analytical models are built in Moldflow; the injection molding processes are simulated in the fusion model. Based on the previous research results and the practical experience of trial master, the injection molding process parameters are used which aimed at reducing the in-cavity residual stress.(2) The injection molding processes are simulated by using 3D model. Then, by using the interface for Moldflow to ANSYS, the results of the injection molding analysis are converted, the residual stress results are obtained in ANSYS.(3) The stresses after loading are measured and calculated by using the loading measurement method, then the stresses after loading and without initial stresses are simulated in ANSYS. The residual stresses are obtained by subtracting the two results. Compared the differences with the simulation results of residual stresses, the loading measurement method is verified.(4) At last, works in this paper are summarized, and further research direction in the future is prospected.
