In order to enrich the kinds of photosensitive micelle systems, the photosensitive performance of some viscoelasticity micelles were investigated in this paper, these viscoelasticity micelles were obtained complexing three surfactants alkyl amine oxide(OA), 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl oleyl dimethyl ammonium acetate(ODAA) and hydroxypropyl double (oleyl dimethyl ammonium acetate) (18-HP-18) with three photosensitive counter-ions cinnamic acid(trans-CA), chloro cinnamic acid(trans-pClCA) and 4-phenylazo benzoic acid (trans-AC A). The effects of temperature, pH, and concentration on viscosities of ODAA/trans-ACA and 18-HP-18/trans-ACA micelle systems were investigated. The rheological properties and micro-rheological properties of the two micelle systems were studied before and after UV irradiation. Furthermore, the rheo-kinetics processes during UV irradiation were studied and rheo-kinetics equation can well describe the changing processes. The drag reduction of viscoelastic surfactant micelle (ODAA/trans-pClCA) was studied. The main conclusions were made as follows:1) Seven viscoelasticity micelle systems (OA/trans-CA, OA/trans-pCICA, OA/trans-ACA, ODAA/trans-CA, ODAA/trans-pCICA, ODAA/trans-ACA, 18-HP-18/trans-ACA) were obtained. It is confirmed that ODAA/trans-ACA and 18-HP-18/trans-ACA micelle systems have good photosensitive performance and defined the optimum molar ratio, temperature, pH and UV irradiation time of the two micelle system.2) The rheological porperties (viscosity, flow curve, thixotropy and viscoelasticity) and micro-rheological properties (macroscopic viscosity index MVI and elasticity index EI) of different concentrations of ODAA/trans-ACA micelle systems were defined. It is confirmed that ODAA/trans-ACA micelle system was a reversible photothinning fluid.3) The process rheological properties of different concentrations of ODAA/trans-ACA micelle systems were obtained. The curves of viscosity versus with UV irradiation time were achieved and the processes were described by rheo-kinetics equation under steady shear. The curves of viscoelasticity modulus versus with UV irradiation time were achieved and the processes were described by rheo-kinetics equation under dynamic oscillatory shear.4) The rheological porperties (viscosity, flow curve, thixotropy and viscoelasticity) and rheo-kinetics properties of different concentrations of 18-HP-18/trans-ACA solutions were defined, confirming that 18-HP-18/trans-ACA solution was a photothickening fluid. The curves of viscosity versus with UV irradiation time were achieved and the processes were described by rheo-kinetics equation under steady shear. The curves of viscoelasticity modulus versus with UV irradiation time were achieved5) The flow curves and drag reduction curves of different concentrations of ODAA/trans-pClCA micelle systems were obtained. It is confirmed ODAA/trans-pClCA micelle system possesses good drag reduction. For ODAA/trans-pClCA (10mM/10mM) micelle system, its maximum drag reduction rate can reach 70% in smooth tube.
