Infrared radiation drying is a new type of drying way, since it has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving,health, easy to adjust and control, people pay more attention to infared radiation drying. As this technology is widely used, higher requirements are put forward.This paper has researched the temperature distribution of infrared radiation field and find the best scheme, analyzed the influence of different operating parameters on the drying process,and material drying model as reference to the design of variable temperature drying experiment has been set up.In infrared radiation drying production, the choice of infrared radiator is related to the drying efficiency and energy saving,so this paper analyzes several types of radiator which are frequently used at present,this experiment selected opal quartz infrared radiator.Temperature distribution of radiation field is related to the consistency of drying and the design of drying equipment.In the process of mass and continuous production, the influence of the radiation field distribution will be more great.This paper has studied the temperature field distribution under different drying power and distance of the radiators. The experimental results show that temperature distribution of radiation field is related to the radiator spacing under specific power and we can find the most suitable distance for the uniformity of temperature distribution.This paper also has studied the temperature distribution in different directions,different number of radiator and different wind speeds through the comsol simulation, found out the best radiator configuration scheme.Different radiation power, material thickness and radiation angle will affect the infrared radiation drying efficiency and product quality.This paper has analyzed the material drying characteristics under different conditions and found out that variable temperature drying is the most energy-efficient drying ways:for porous material drying as pumpkin pulp, medium temperature drying first,then high temperature drying when certain moisture content is reached, low temperature drying when The drying rate began to fall.The mathematical model of drying can help us grasp the drying process.This paper has researched the different drying model using the experimental data under different power. Results shows that the page model, Logarithmic model, Wang and Mr Singh model, Midilli-Kucuk model fitting degree is better, and this paper has studied the relationship between various parameters and input power of the Logarithmic model,then summarized the infrared drying model of pumpkin pulp.The model can be used as a reference for the variable temperature drying to optimize the drying process.
