With the development of science and technology, has a low density, easy processing, impact-resistant polymer optical materials in the production of life to replace inorganic optical materials are widely used in the lens, building materials, lighting, and other fields. Polymer optical materials with higher refractive index, which can make the device thinner and smaller, have great application prospects in the fields of miniaturization and lightweight,and the high refractive index resin with light curing characteristics can greatly improve the efficiency of the high refractive index coating and the binder.But the high refractive rate resin research direction, one is through improve synthetic monomer molar refractivity groups the proportion, but the preparation methods are tedious and difficult, it is difficult to achieve mass production. Second, a lot of researchers to target the thermosetting high refractive rate based on the study of the resin, although there have been some practical value, but the high curing temperature of thermosetting resin, cycle length limits the them in the application prospect of quick assembly line production.In this paper,we use thiophenol and acryloyl chloride by esterification reaction prepared high refractive index monomers, then put these monomers and other routine use of unsaturated monomer light copolymerization prepared better comprehensive properties of high refractive index film rate.The main contents are as follows:(1)The positioning respectively nitro, chlorine atoms and bromine atoms thiophenol with acryloyl chloride by low-temperature phase transfer catalysis(PTC) and anti dropping alkali solution of PTC was prepared three acrylic acid type thiophenol ester monomer,structure of the purified product was characterized by FTIR and 1H-NMR, producing functional profile of the target image and product consistent, indicating the success of the mole has a high refractive index benzene, sulfur atom, a chlorine atom and bromine atom and double bond, the higher the refractive index of the resulting monomer, can in 1.6 above, the highest 4-nitrobenzene thiol esters of acrylic acid up to 1.66. And we discussed the monomer yield, the color of the influence factors and compared the related thermal properties.(2)The preparation of three kinds of acrylic acid type thiophenol ester with MMA and St are evenly mixed, coated on the PET film UV polymerization, light initiation agent type, regulated copolymerization monomer ratio and the amount of solvent, to prepare the high refractive index film.Characterized by dry time light curing rate tested the refractive index of the coating film, light transmittance, adhesion, contact angle and thermal performance, and discussed the related factors of these properties.
