As the development of technology,people put a higher demand for display,while many novel display technologies have continually emerged,among them,the flexible transparent display is concerned greatly,because of its many advantages the research has been growing in many electronic devices display aspects.Currently,the main way of flexible transparent display is OLED,but compared to other display technologies,OLED still needs to improve in the basic research aspect.The main problem is that many of the fundamental physical problems deciding the device performance is unclear, efficiency and stability have to raise.In the process of industrialization,the problems are the yield is too low,the price is expensive,the life is short and it is difficult to achieve the large size and other issues.Therefore,the research of a low-cost,long life,stable performance and can be used for large-size flexible transparent display will have a great value.Based on the above,the paper based on screen printing process,researched and prepared a flexible transparent display.For this flexible display,the paper analyzed and studied the drive control system,then gives the circuits and program.Through the debugging,it can make the Chinese characters move from right to left.The main contents are as follows:1. Prepared the flexible transparent display by screen printing, studied the entire production process of the display, including the adjustment of the device parameters to make the best screen performance and produce conductive lines by overprinting process.On the basis,the LED is fixed on a substrate by the process of solid crystal and ensured connectivity with conductive lines by the process of dispensing. Finally,in order to prevent oxidation of the silver line,a layer of poly edge is coated on the surface of the display.The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the production process and the production process can be accelerated by roll to roll process.2. Several common control methods has been analysed for the flexible display,veryfied the specific drive shceme,based on this,the hardware control circuit has been designed based on the 8051 MCU.The software system has been designed and programmed to drive the hardware.To facilitate the secondary development,the serial communication procedures has been programmed and realized the date communication between PC and MCU control system. You can directly overwrite the contents of the display and control the display speed through the PC. After the debugging, this flexible transparent display system can display Chinese characters and the display clarity, smooth, the system is reliable and can be controlled by a PC.The results show the flexible transparent display has a certain prospect and facilitate to secondary development.3. Preparated a non-particle silver conductive ink and researched the process of ink-jet printing and post-treatment.The silver precursors, conductive ink and silver film were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, four-probe tester, contact angle measurement, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analyzer. The results indicated that the conductive silver film is made up of uniform nano silver particles after the conductive ink was sintered at 130℃. By heat-treatment for 40 minutes at 130℃, we get the silver film’s sheet resistance as low as 0.84Ω·□-1 and the silver film has good flexibility.lt is expected to solve the poor flexibility of the flexible display made by screen printing process and it can also be widely used for printed electronics industry.
