Through exploring the difference and correlation of the carotenoids composition and content between different citrus varieties in this paper, in order to solve the problem of its long breeding period lay the foundation.This article first in this paper, the extraction technology of the total carotenoids from their leaves,pulps and peels,and Sanhong pomelos was as the raw material.The extracted carotenoids in different tissues of six citrus varieties were analyzed and detected through HPLC.The main research results were as follows:(1) The optimum extraction parameters of ultrasonic-assisted method for the lesves of citrus were:the extraction solvent of ethanol:acetone=1:1 (V/V), material liquid than 1:30 (g/mL),7 min ultrasonic time, ultrasonic power 240 W, extraction number is 2, under the condition of the extraction rate was 85.98%;(2) The optimum extraction parameters of ultrasonic-assisted method for the pulps of citrus were:the extraction solvent of n-hexane:ethanol=1:1 (V/V), and solid-liquid ratio of 1:80 (g/mL),20 min ultrasonic time, ultrasonic power 270 W, extraction times for 2, under the condition of the extraction rate was 89.73%;(3) The optimum extraction parameters of ultrasonic-assisted method for the pulps of citrus were:the extraction solvent of petroleum etherethanol:acetone= 2:1:1 (V/V), the material liquid ratio of 1:100 (g/mL),40 min ultrasonic time, ultrasonic power 270 W, extraction times for 3,under the condition of the extraction rate was 78.14%.(4) The β-carotene content of Bairou leaves was 103.53 μg/g, which was as 100 times as its peels; The P-carotene content of Huangjin leaves was 110.55 μg/g, which was as 10 times as its pulps or peels, and the lycopene content of pulps was 112.94 μg/g;The β-carotene content of Jinye leaves was as high as 129.59 μg/g, which was as 12 times as its pulps, and the lycopene content of its leaves was only 17.46 μg/g which was 40% less than that of its pulps;The P-carotene content of Huangjin No.3 leaves was 85.39 μg/g, which was as 4 times as its pulp and as 105 times as its peels, the lycopene content was 15.29 μg/g;The β-carotene content of Hongrou leaves was 93.48μg/g, which of pulps was 1.04 μg/g,the lycopene content of its pulps was as high as 1.04 mg/g;The β-carotene content of Sanhong leaves was 105.16 μg/g,which was about 90 times in its pulps, and the lycopene was not detected, the lycopene content of its pulps was 1.56 mg/g.
