In recent years, organic-inorganic hybrid materials attracted more and more attention because of their rich structures and unique properties. Template method as one of the most important strategies for the synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid materials has been widely used. However, the rational design templates and then fabrication of organic-inorganic hybrid materials with unique structure and properties by template-induced is still a challenge. Therefore, it’s very necessary to carry out the relevant research.We design and synthesis a series of 1, ω-bolaamphiphiles cationic template with side chain, cation-templated self-assembly of them with Cu SCN, and 8 compounds were obtained: {(bmpm) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(bmpm = 1,1’-bis(4-methylpyridine)methylene)(1), {(bmpe) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(bmpe = 1,2-bis(4-methylpyridine)ethane)(2), {(blm) [Cu3(SCN)5]}n(3), {(ble) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(4), {(blp) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(5), {(blb) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(6), {(blpt) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(7),{(blh) [Cu2(SCN)4]}n(8),(blm = 1, 1’-bis(3, 5-lutidine)methylene, ble = 1, 2-bis(3,5-lutidine)ethane, blp = 1, 3-bis(3, 5-lutidine)propane, blb = 1, 4-bis(3,5-lutidine)butane, blpt = 1, 5-bis(3, 5-lutidine)pentane, blh = 1, 6-bis(3, 5-lutidine)hexane))。Structure analysis showed that this series of compounds possess the infinite2 D to 3D polypseudorotaxane. Semiconductor band gap and photocatalytic performance of these compounds have been studied systematically. The third-order NLO of 1 and 2, photoluminescence and emission decay lifetimes of 3-8 and fluorescent probe for detecting small molecules of compound 5 were also evaluated.The anchoring effect of side chain substituent in the fabrication of organic-inorganic polypseudorotaxane by cation-templated self-assembly has been intensively studied.Next, two novel iodoplumbate hybrids templated by multivalent organic cation{(tbp)2[Pb3I12]}n(9)(tbp=1,3,5-tri(N-pyridinium methyl)benzene tribromide),{(tbpm)[Pb3I9]·H2O}n(10)(tbpm=1,3,5-tri(4-methylpyridiniummethyl) benzene tribromide) have been synthesized and characterized. Compound 9 was selected as an example to explore the mechanism of photocatalytic. And the stability of 9-10 wasevaluated.
