This dissertation relies on the National and International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Special Projects " Cooperative Research of Key technologies in Efficient Precision Deep Hole Processing(project number: 2013DFA70770). The deep hole processing machine tool appear chatter in he process of metal cutting,and chatter leads to machining precision reduced and machining efficiency affected, cutting tool and machine tool life expectancy and the generation of harmful noise. So the study of flutter and its suppression technology is very important.First of all, this paper analyzed the type of vibration and vibration reduction method occurs in the process of metal cutting machine tool. Secondly, analyzed mechanism of the regeneration chatter and modal coupling flutter,and studied on two types of flutter stability, including the construction of a dynamic model, the calculation of instantaneous dynamic cutting force and the methods to improve stability.Through analyzing the operation modes of MRF and the study of dynamic model, designed the adaptive MRF shock absorber based on the pattern of extrusion. Derivation of formula about the magnetic raw electrical and electrical raw magnetic parts,and verified its feasibility through the preliminary selection,and located shock absorber in a new way on the deep hole processing machine tools. By establishing the analysis of dynamics model and obtaining the dynamics equation, by means of matlab simulink platform to build dynamic model and simulation, compared vibration graphics of system which installed the shock absorber with which not installed the shock absorber under different rotational speed. The results show that the MRF damper can greatly and quickly the attenuation of amplitude, Also shortened the vibration cycle. Therefore adaptive MRF shock absorber for machine tool cutting chatter has the very good inhibitory effect.
