The deep-hole processing is an important branch in the field of mechanical processing,deep-hole straightness detection is also a worldwide problem in the field of deep-hole, how to detect deep-hole straightness quickly and accurately is a hot spot for a long time. Now, with the technology development of the computer, CCD, image processing, etc, light vision technology has been more and more widely used in high precision detection and it is an important development direction in this field for the future. In this paper, applying the light vision technology to the deep-hole straightness inspection is the first time, so this research provides a new train to thought, a new method and new exploration on the solution of the problem.This paper conducted a large number of related research on the straightness detection and the light vision technology. Firstly, research background, the purpose and the significance of this research were been expounded. Then, the present research status of the straightness detection at home and abroad were been reviewed, the problems existing in the current research were analyzed. Based on this, putting forward the subject of study on straightness detecting method for deep-hole based on the light vision technology. The main research contents are as following:(1)We designed a feeding device with function of self-centering, self-walking and self-adjusting radius matching with the detection system, all the parts of system were analyzed in detail and selected reasonably;(2)We established the model of deep-hole straightness, and explained its working principle;(3)We put forward a new method to realize elliptical light arc`s central location by usingthe method of coordinate transformation, and explains its algorithm in detail;(4)We put forward a new method to convert the problem of evaluating arbitrary spatial straightness error to the problem of plane straightness error and roundness error, and we explain its algorithm in detail;(5)We Used Matlab and Excel software to verify the theory of straightness fitting method in this paper.The straightness detecting method for deep-holes based on the light vision technology in this paper can overcome the disadvantage of low precision of traditional methods(such as the collimation telescope method, the piston method,the arm extension method), in addition,compared with the current advanced laser collimation method,this method does not need to adjust the operation strictly and is not affected by external factors.In this paper, the straightness of fitting and calculation method was proposed, which was simple and easy to calculate, and had high precision.Therefore, the research of this paper has important theoretical significance and practical value in the field of deep-hole straightness measurement.
