There is a big deformation in two sides of lane wall in 4111 working face of Yuanzhuang coal mine, and the main reasons are high stress and the influence of mining factors. Therefore,the technology of pressure releasing slots was established, which shifts the high stress in mining roadway and solves the large deformation of roadway effectively. Elastic theory is used to construct the model of top of the pressure releasing slots,which is named by "simply supported beam"model,the sides named by "beam plate"model,and the "deepest side of pressure releasing slots named by rectangular thin plate model, and the mechanism of pressure releasing slots is analysed from the point of view of mechanics. Combination of tunnel geological conditions in 4111 working face of Yuanzhuang coal mine, FLAC3D numerical simulation software is used to establish numerical model non-slotted and slotted and simulate and study the influence on releasing effect different width, height and depth of pressure releasing slots has,the follow conclusions is made:(1) The deformation and failure of the tank wall of the pressure releasing slots begins in the middle region. In the process of the deformation and failure, the deformation of the surrounding rock is absorbed, and the high stress in the surrounding rock of roadway is transferred, which plays a role of pressure relief(2) With the increase of width of pressure releasing slots, the deformation of two sides of roadway decreases gradually,the deformation of roof and floor of roadway increases gradually and the high stress in two sides of roadway is shift.As the height of pressure releasing slots increases, the deformation of two sides of roadway reduces gradually, the deformation of roof and floor of roadway unchanges basically and the high stress in two sides of roadway is shift. With the depth increasing, the deformation of two sides of roadway reduces gradually, the deformation of roof and floor of roadway increases gradually and the high stress in two sides of roadway is shift.The reasonable support parameters of pressure releasing slots is established with the forming study, which is applied to the testing area and reflects significant effect.
