Ezhou power plant is located in Gedian Ezhou Development Zone, with the construction of the three phase expansion project, the power supply pressure of east of Hubei province load center will be alleviated and the local economic growth and social development will be promoted. This paper is based on the project- the three phase project of Ezhou power plant on the evaluation of groundwater environmental impact, in view of the potential impact of the thermal power plant on the production process, the numerical simulation is carried out.First, On the basis of the collected data, the field hydrogeological investigation was carried out in the study area. Designed water level and water quality sampling point and Sampling, recording and testing, and then the hydrogeological parameters of the unsaturated zone were obtained through the field test of water seepage. So the geological and hydrogeological conditions of the study area will be comprehensive grasped. Secondly, using GMS software to establish the conceptual model of the condition and to identify and validate the model. The results show that the model is in well agreement with the actual flow field and it can be used to carry out follow-up forecast simulation. Finally, solute transport model was established and forecast the contamination to groundwater environment respectively under accident conditions representative of the factory in the industrial wastewater treatment tank leaked ammonia, desulfurization wastewater pool leak chloride and oily wastewater treatment pool leak of oil pollutants and ash disposal site in fluoride pollution. The forecasting results shows that under accident conditions, the maximum concentration of each contamination is ammonia leakage is 9.009mg/L, the chloride concentration is5192.77mg/L, the petroleum is 2.89mg/L, the fluoride is 1.4293mg/L. Overall, The maximum pollution range of the pollutant is within the controllable range, and the influence to the ground water is within the controllable range.
