High-gravity rotating bed, an effective gas-liquid contactor,can greatly intensify gas-liquid mass transfer processes.In order to reduce pressure drop, a new type of rotating bed,namely rotating jet bed(RJB) was developed based on rotating zigzag bed(RZB), The core components of RJB are the jetting rotor and coil-type liquid distributor. The rotor is made up of stationary disc and rotating disc which is fixed to a series of concentric rotating baffles with perforations. In this paper, using air as the gas phase, Effects of different size of rotors on hydrodynamics performance of RJB were investigated. The sealing performance of the centrifugal seal was preliminary explored with closure to CO2 of constant pressure.The experimental results show that:(1)The jet centrifugal rotating bed pressure drop increases with the thickness of the rotor or speed.(2) The dry bed gas pressure drop increases with the F factor.(3) When the rotating rotor diameter is fixed, dry bed pressure drop increases with the rotor diameter. Rotating bed fixed rotor diameter, dry bed pressure drop with the increase of the rotor diameter, or volume.(4) The bed pressure drop decrease of rotating bed with the decrease of the thickness.(5) The centrifugal liquid ring seal used in the experiment of the maximum sealing pressure is 1.5-2.5 times as much as the minimum sealing pressure, Both increases with the rotating speed increases.(6) The centrifugal stress coefficient of liquid ring seal can improve the sealing performance by improve its structure.
