The Countermeasure Research Of Deqing County Rural Sewage Treatment

Rural domestic sewage treatment is one of the most important aspects in the improvement of rural ecological environment. Because of traditional living ways and limited input from the local government, the problems of rural domestic sewage have not systematically treated for a long time. Based on the construction of a new countryside for the past few years, an all-round treatment of rural domestic sewage has been put on the agenda since 2014 in Deqing County, for which, the investigation and assessment work have been carried out, as well as the pilot work in some areas.The thesis, based on the extensive field work, was to estimate and analyze the status quo of the county’s rural domestic sewage discharge and disposal, to find out the existing problems, and put forward corresponding measures. The local offices of rural affairs, department of environmental protection and other agencies and specialists have been consulted, to make sure the study is practicable and feasible.The thesis introduced the background information about Deqing County and its practice in rural domestic sewage treatment. Through investigation and analysis, existing problems were laid out and discussed, which were mainly: the weak consciousness of environmental protection of rural residents, the lack of effective programming in its implementation, negative circumstances from the external environment, the difficulties in popularizing the sewage disposal technology, low quality of the sewage network system construction, daily mal-administration of sewage treatment, and so on. Targeted at these questions, strategies and suggestions were advanced in the end of the thesis, which include:(1)an overall planning of the treatment practice, with steps and in order, of those measures that are easier to carry out and momentous have the priority over those more difficult and less important ones; (11)the selection of appropriate treatment models, according to the real landforms and conditions of different areas; (111)the confirmation of scientific treatment technology, according to the residential and geographical conditions, as well as the proposed models and technologies for all the towns and villages within the county; (IV)the quality control of the project construction and its effectiveness; (V)the long-term management due to the Five-integration treatment model; (VI) the varied safeguard measures by the government, enterprises and local farmers, to make sure that all the problems be well resolved and the effectiveness guaranteed, for the purposes of upgrading rural living environment and regional water environment protection.
