High basicity sinter is good for reducing the coke ratio in blast furnace,because it has many advantages such as high strength, good reducibility and etc. so the limestone in sintering process has been used more and more. Along with advance of the sintering technology, quicklime instead of limestone as a flux has been accepted by sintering plants, this has good effect on improving yield, quality of sinter and decreasing fuel consumption in sintering process. But with the increase of quicklime proportion to instead of limestone, the dust produced in the processes of digestion and transport of quicklime, is becoming more and more, which has become an urgent problem to be solved in sintering production. In this thesis, through the reasonable method selection of quicklime digestion and the improved dust removal technology,dust can be reduce by mixing machine watering instead of dosing chamber watering for quicklime digestion, the environment was improved and sintering process become more reasonable.The experimental results show that watering for quicklime digestion in the mixing machine instead of dosing chamber watering, this could maintain the yield and quality of the sintering process, simultaneous environment can be improved at the dosing chamber obviously like eliminating of the steam diffuse phenomenon and increasing of the stability of electronic ingredient chamber to improve the dosing efficiency. However, the dust had been increased at the mixing machine area, which was reduced by reducing the material transfer, discharging material directly into the mixing machine, sealing the end of feeding material and other optimization methods,to get successful. The supporting technologies are adopted as following:(1) removal technology of dust by sedimentation micro negative pressure;(2) optimizing technology of mixing machine watering;(3) heating digestion technology of quicklime;(4) optimization technology of mixing machine feeding;(5) double layer dynamic sealing technology at mixing machine feeding side;(6) online rapid measuring technique of moisture by conductivity moisture meter. a mixed machine watering for quicklime digestion can effectively improve the environment in sintering process, it will be a valuable reference for similar sintering process.
