The Preparation Of High-Performance Damping Coating And Research Of Molding Process

To improve the damping sound insulation performance of aluminum alloy compartment of high-speed train. First, this paper using water-based polymer as binder, mica, MoS2, talc, graphite, such as CaCO3 with different morphology structure of the material as the main filler, the damping coating prepared by blending. Using the impedance tube tester, cantilever data acquisition system, paint film adhesion tester, SEM, XRD.etc to analysis the acoustic and mechanical properties of the damping coating, and the morphology and crystal structure of the materials.Results indicate that:(1) Add a certain amount of mica, CaCO3 and MoS2 as filler, the comprehensive performance of damping coating is better than that of adding talc or graphite;(2) Using the method of control variable, change the proportion of MoS2 in packing system, found that when the quality of MoS2 accounted for 18.75% of total quality packing, the damping coating has the best damping performance; However when the quality of MoS2 is 25% or 12.5%, the sound insulation performance or the coating adhesion to achieve the best state, respectively. Generally, when the quality of MoS2 accounted for 18.75% of the total packing, the comprehensive performance of damping coating is ideal.(3) Adding excess MoS2 will cause the internal defects of damping coating increase, damping coating performance declines, and MoS2 cost is high, so the amount should not exceed 25% of the total quality packing.In order to improve the damping coating hard to operate, long time process, waste manpower, make it could apply to more areas, this paper use the compression molding method and study its molding process.Compare the molding method and the traditional blading or spraying process. The results show that:(1) The optimum damping sheet molding temperature is 120 ℃, the best molding pressure to 10 MPa, the best pressure maintaining time is 45 min, under such condition, damping sheet has the best comprehensive performance;(2) The damping sheet which prepared by molding method is superior to traditional coating process in the sound insulation performance, damping performance and adhesion.etc;(3)Using marble glue as binder between the damping sheet and metal base material, the combination is the tightest.
