Polyoxometalates(POMs) is an important research field in coordination chemistry, which have potential applications in catalysis, electrochemistry, optical, etc. Recent researches in the field of catalysis and adsorption have captured the attention of chemical researchers. By selecting the appropriate organic ligands modifying the POMs structure unit, we success to synthesis nine novel complexes by hydrothermal technique and aqueous solution. The chemical formulas of have been determined by elemental analyses and TG analysis:[Co(2,2’-bipy)3]2[{Co4(H2O)2}(AsW9O34)2](1)[Ni(Hen)3]2[{Ni4(en)2}(AsW9O34)2]·6H2O(2)[{Cu(2,2’-bipy)}8(H2O)2(AsW9O34)2](3)(H2dap)[Cu(H2dap) (H2O)2][{Cu(dap)(H2O)2}{As2W17Cu61}]·5H2O(4)H2[Ni(2,2’-bipy)]2[As2W18O62]H2O(5)H4[Co(2,2’-bipy)3][As2W18O62](6)[Zn(2,2’-bipy)3]3[As2W18O62](7)H2[Cu(2,2’-bipy)]8[AsW8O-31]2(8)As4Mn5O20 (9)(en=ethylenediamine,1,2-dap=1,2-diaminopropane,2,2’-bipy=2,2’-bipyridine)These ten compounds are structurally characterized by X-ray diffractions. Compounds 1-3 are composed of two absence of [AsW9O34]9- anion connect with [Co4(H2O)2]、[Ni(en)2]、[{Cu(2,2’-bipy)}8(H2O)2], respectively, coordination to form sandwich type structure compounds. These sandwich structures are formed 1D to 3D through hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interaction. In the compound 4, the polyoxoanion [As2W17CuO61]8- is based on the well-known Dawson structure of the [a-As2W18O62]6- with one W atom substituted by a Cu atom. The most interesting structure of 4 is that the two Wells-Dawson [As2W17CuO61]8- cores are connected to each other through one common O atom and Cu atom into a [(As2W17CuO61)2]16-dimerization polyoxoarsenotungstate cluster, which can be described as a dimer through Cu-O-W and O-Cu-O linkers. The adjacent dimeric chains are further aggregated together to yield a 2D supramolecular layer and 3D supramolecular framework. In compounds 5-7 are synthesized by polyoxoanion [As2W18O61]6- still retain the classical Wells-Dawson structure. External respectively floating with different counter ions [Ni(2,2’-bipy)]2、[Co(2,2’-bipy)3]、[Zn(2,2’-bipy)3]3. These three compounds are formed 1D-3D by hydrogen bond. The asymmetric molecular structure unit of compound 8 consists of one tetravacant Keggin-type polyanion, four supported [Cu(2,2’-bipy)]2+ fragments. Besides, it is of note that the π-π interactions between adjacent 2,2-bipy rings play an important role in the structure of the 1D-3D. In this 2D structure, which diagonal distance is 17.869×13.078 A. Compound 9 is composed of As, Mn and O which are composed of a class of "Butterfly" manganese cluster compounds.The compounds 1-9 has the electrochemical properties, and they all have catalytic activity for hydrogen peroxide. In the hard drive dynamic water oxidation conditions. Compound 1 will be oxidized and decomposed into oxygen cobalt oxide. It is a good heterogeneous catalyst for the oxidation of water. Compound 4 has a very good adsorption of MB dye, and can be selected with RhB and MO adsorption separation, so that it has a potential application value in water pollution control. Compounds 1-3 had good photocatalytic degradation effect on RhB. The degradation rates were 98.1%, 97.7% and 98.7%, respectively. The compounds 5-7 showed good photocatalytic degradation of MB, and the degradation rates were 95.1%,96.7%,96.3% and 96.61%, respectively. The synthesis of these compounds is a kind of material with promising application prospect.
