China is the largest producing and exporting of electrolytic manganese country in the world, and electrolytic manganese provides solid economic base to the national economic development and modernization construction. Aging procedure is the last guarantee procedure in electrolyzing manganese, however, purification of iron ion in aging procedure is still based on human experience and laggard artificial analysis method, and is a waste of human and material resources.This paper takes iron ion of electrolytic manganese’s aging liquid purification procedure as research object, and mineral powder of electrolytic manganese enterprise as sample, and electrolytic manganese’s aging liquid produced by simulating electrolytic manganese producing procedure in laboratory’s small experiment as experimental object, treating need checking sample with 2% H2SO4 basement dilute solution and basement analyzing solution, and adopting ICP-MS to analysis time dimension and space dimension change law of iron ion in electrolytic manganese’s aging liquid. Mathematical model is established based on result of small experiment simulation test. Small simulation test in laboratory verifies time and space dimension change law of small experiment simulation iron ion, and mathematical model is established to explain it. Online testing platform that combining of new testing devices is selected to be testing and analyzing method of enterprise’s field test, and analyzing method is established and evaluated to verify results of small experiment simulation and middle experiment simulation.The result shows that, after verification of middle experiment simulation and enterprise’s field test, the result come from small experiment simulation in laboratory verifies that there are three distribution laws, which, at same space height but different time dimension of iron ion in electrolytic manganese’s aging liquid purification procedure: at initial stage, content of aging liquid’s iron ion stays still, then at rapid rising stage, the content rises rapidly, and at stable stage, the content increases to gentle stage. The content of iron ion-in electrolytic manganese’s aging liquid purification procedure and at same space height but different time dimension-basically same, showing that strong ferric oxide colloid in aging liquid are evenly distributing, and settle at same settling velocity to achieve purifying effect, furthermore, taking online testing platform that combining of new testing devices as testing and analyzing enterprise’s field iron ion of aging liquid method shows accuracy, reliability and strong resistance of basement interference.
