CEC statistics show that in early 2015, our country coal desulfurization unit capacity of more than 760 million, accounting for 92.1% of the national coal unit capacity, more than 90%of the limestone-gypsum wet technology. In the governance of SO2 and resource consumption and secondary pollution to the environment problem increasingly serious, desulfurization of flue gas containing a large amount of acid fog, gypsum particles and small amounts of other heavy metal particles, if can’t effectively remove, it will cause corrosion to the downstream equipment,cause disease, and even "gypsum rain" pollution of the environment, etc. The power plant of WFGD in the mist eliminator blades are fixed installation structure, and use the single type of baffle plate demister, demisting efficiency is limited, especially for micron grade and submicroscopic particles almost can’t capture, and poor load adaptability problems are increasingly emerging.Based on large coal-fired boiler desulfurization device demister demisting efficiency is not high, poor adaptability, such as intelligent question research. The author of hook fold plate demister several design schemes are simulated, to analyze different hook sheet size of 10~40microns droplet capture effect. In wet flue gas desulfurization system corrugated plate demister with hook as the study object, the CFD to calculate the hook straight length, radius of circular arc segment and hook pieces of circular arc section of twist Angle and other factors affect the performance of demister. Based on the hook for the first time adjustable demister, the methods of mathematical modeling and data fitting, establish the parameters such as load and fuel composition and demister hook deflection Angle of the relationship, on the basis of this puts forward the optimal operation method of demister.The results show that the folded plate type demister with hook, to enhance the flow field disturbance, can greatly improve the efficiency of mist. Along with the rising of the hook piece length, the pressure drop increases. With the increase of hook slice width, most conditions,demisting efficiency and pressure drop are reduced. With the reduction of load demisting efficiency decline. By changing the hook pieces straight length, radius of circular arc segment,circular arc section deflection Angle and hook bending Angle to the gas-liquid two phase flow field in the mist eliminator to adjust, to reach the ideal state, improve the efficiency of the mist.In WFGD system of 300 mw, for example, when the design coal gasification, in 40% ~ 100%under the rated conditions, using optimization method, the writer demisting efficiency 4.1% on average.
