Soil heavy metal pollution has become one of the environmental issues of global concern. In recent years, frequent incidents of heavy metal pollution, China’s industrialization and urbanization left in the large number of heavy metal contaminated sites. In Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Hunan and other places, cumulative heavy metal pollution hazards appear one after another outbreak of the situation, to the local ecological environment, people’s health and social security caused by extreme big risks.Heavy metal pollution not only makes the degradation of soil fertility and reduce the yield and quality of agricultural products, and promote the deterioration of water environment, and ultimately endanger human life and health through the food chain, of great significance to the sustainable development of cities. Both a direct impact on urban soils dense urban population, involving a large number of lives and health and safety, and also through the water, the atmosphere indirectly affect the quality of the urban environment. Therefore, the urban soil pollution problem has aroused great attention.This paper introduces the status of soil pollution in China, and the sources, characteristics and harm of soil pollution were analyzed, summarized the technology and methods for remediation of contaminated sites in China, introduced to provide basic information for developed countries to heavy metal contaminated site remediation technology development, application status and its technical, economic and other characteristics for soil remediation technology selection. Systematic analysis of the repair technology of American FRTR, British EA, EU CLARINET organizations and EUGRIS organizations and other countries to establish screening matrix, combined with China’s contaminated site management level, technical specification system and related laws and regulations, construct the matrix of screening repair technology of our country existing site based on heavy metal pollution.Based on the evaluation of the contaminated site remediation technology method and index system, for our country existing heavy metal contaminated site remediation technology as the foundation, using the analytic hierarchy process to repair technology optimization problems. Considering the technical and economic indicators, the repair time index, social indicators and operation management, scope of application, application and other basic information, at the same time will use the expected land contaminated sites, physicochemical properties, pollution characteristics, environment into consideration, initially set includes 4 first level indicators (technology maturity, engineering environmental impact, cost and benefit, the public acceptance of Technology) and heavy metal contaminated sites remediation technology for a plurality of two indicators of the evaluation index system and the design of the questionnaire, expert investigation, determine the index weight, and establish the evaluation model. Heavy metal contaminated sites in foreign countries on the basis of management decision-making processes, combined with our existing contaminated sites management requirements and technical specifications of heavy metal contaminated sites proposed in the environmental remediation costs of environmental damage assessment value and operating procedures.
