This article describes the application and development of halogenated aromatic compounds and derivatives thereof, which have extensive and important applications in various fields of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and other materials. In the polymerization reaction, a bromine atom is prepared in a conjugated polymer is the key active group of conjugated polymers can be effectively modified, so many related work about investigating the effect of the organic photoelectric field bromine atom conjugated polymer properties ongoing.Polyimide is a comprehensive strong performance polymer materials, because of its outstanding resistance to corrosion, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance and electrical insulation properties, has been widely used in aviation, aerospace, liquid separation membrane, nano, microelectronics, laser, separation membranes, and other fields. With research and application of new polyimide polymer materials, their synthesis monomers are constantly updated. In order to expand the synthesis and application of bromobenzene ether compound, this article dedicated to the design and synthesis of novel bromobenzene diether compound and its characterization. In this experiment, 2,4,6-tribromo resorcinol was for raw materials, designe and synthesis of a novel benzene diether acid derivative containing benzene ring, bromine functional group, a carboxyl group and an ether oxygen bond. This compound containing a plurality of carboxyl groups, with an amino compound under certain conditions can polycondensation polyimide, is expected to prepare various multi-functional polyimide material. The first part of the experiment is resorcinol and bromine in the next phase of warming synthesized 2,4,6-tribromo resorcinol, were characterized by infrared spectroscopy its structure. The second part is the 2,4,6-tribromo resorcinol with4-nitro-phthalonitrile nucleophilic reactions synthesis of 1,3-bi(3,4-cyanophenyl)-2,4,6-tribromo-isophthalic ether, by varying the reaction temperature, reaction time, ratio of natural materials, the synthesis conditions are optimized, and its structure characterized. The third part is to explore the 1,3-bi(3,4-cyanophenyl)-2,4,6-tribromo-isophthalic ether hydrolysis as 1,3-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)-2,4,6-tribromo-isophthalic ether, and characterized by infrared spectroscopy to its structure.
