With the further development of oil and gas exploration, most of oil fields in our country have entered the development stage, so in the oil field development, real-time downhole flow data to the management of the oil wells, production optimization has important value. Measuring the flow of oil well is an important work of oilfield production management, measurement accurate, timely for the flow of oil well, to master the reservoir condition, make production plan, has an important guiding significance. With the development of technology, more and more need for oil well flow measuring equipment strong function, good accuracy, high degree of automation, to improve labor productivity and field management.This paper uses a heating mode based on online without movable parts of the low-production horizontal well thermal tracer correlation flow measurement method. The measuring device is composed of heat generator, temperature sensor array and a measuring and controlling circuit. Heat generator through the capacitor in a very short time charging and discharging the heated fluid flows through the sensor array, produced when fluid temperature difference sensor array signals caused by mutations, generating heat pulse signal, detect the pulse transit time as well as the sensor array of physical distance can be measured in oil-water two-phase flow.
