Heterogeneous catalysis is applied in a wide range of fields in the researches and industrial productions. Due to the dramatically superiority, researchers play much attention on the solid acid catalysts. This dissertation mainly concerns to Fe-Co/sulfonated polystyrene catalyst, which was prepared by H2SO4, FeCl3·6H2O, COCl2·6H2O and polystyrene; the sulfonated graphene oxide/polystyrene catalyst prepared by H2SO4, graphene oxide and polystyrene; the application of these catalysts in Baeyer-Villiger oxidation with H2O2 as an oxidant, and the mechanism were also discussed. Morphological characteristics of Fe-Co/sulfonated polystyrene catalyst were studied with FT-IR, TG, SEM, XRD, while Raman spectrum also used in characterizations of sulfonated graphene oxide/polystyrene catalyst. Then Fe-Co/sulfonated polystyrene catalyzed 2-heptylcyclopentanone with 30% H2O2 as oxidant in reaction conditions about 0.15g,45℃ and 20 h received 98.6% in conversion, and catalytic efficiency in other ketones were over 60%. The conversion of 2-adamantanone was 99.2% that catalyzed by sulfonated graphene oxide/polystyrene with 0.12 g,45℃ and 20 h as reaction conditions, and got more than 70% in other ketones. The potential mechanisms of these two catalysts could speculate from a sequence of reactions. Mechanism of Fe-Co/sulfonated polystyrene was involved in dual-catalytic centers (acid center and the metal ion center), the nucleophilic activation of substrates by acid center made ketone-carbonyls easier been attacked, while coordination with metal ion center and H2O2 generated in-situ formation of peroxide acted as a practical oxidant. Sulfonated graphene oxide/polystyrene catalyzed ketone was an acid catalytic mechanism as described before.
