With the rapid development of textile industry, the research topic of industrial sewing machines mainly focused in oil-free and high-speed process which follows the mechanical and electrical integration after the level of product technology development trend. So it is certain that the development of industrial sewing machine will reach a new level. This paper aims at applying gas lubrication technology into the transformation of the spindle bearings into the gas spindle spindle bearings in hook line mechanism, which is a significant breakthrough in sewing machine speed.This paper introduced the background, research source, status quo and developing trend of oil-free high speed industrial sewing machine; first of all, the schematic diagram of a certain type industrial sewing machine of the Standard of Xi’an stock company was drawn and introduced its working principle, and introduces the structure and classification of gas bearing; secondly the set of physical model of two actual conditions includes a rotating shuttle shaft in the static eccentricity and dynamic overall tilt are established, the gas bearing boundary condition, flow balance, the bearing capacity calculation formula of the parameters such as specific conditions, provided an important basis for the theoretical analysis; then calculating hook shaft before and after gas bearings static simulation, analysis of the position of the hook shaft overall stomatal aperture for gas under eccentric bearing pressure distribution、the bearing capacity of the bearing and air consumption influence, and in the speed of 4000rpm-8000rpm condition analysis of the before and after the gas hook shaft bearing pressure distribution and dynamic computational analysis and comparison. Finally, according to the static state of the industrial sewing machine, built a preliminary experimental platform, and tested the static mechanical properties, the result is compared with the theoretical result.
