Error Analysis And Study On Computer Color Match In Fabric Dyeing

It is a long time since computer color match applied to fabric dyeing, but the computer still can not replace the manual color matching in the factory. The computer color matching theory can not entirely consistent with the actual situation in fabric dyeing is the fundamental causes in many reasons. However,the introduction of errors can not be ignored in fabric measurement and dyeing process.In this paper, the errors of computer color matching were researched by using ordinary polyester fabric. The research focus on the whole errors in computer color matching of polyester fabric, which is similar to the factory laboratory. The method for color measurement instruments were summarized and experimental testing methods were optimized at first, then the introduction of error range is summarized and analyzed; the errors of dosing system were analyzed theoretically and the range of the color difference of the instruction of errors were given during dosing system error control; the method of fabric dyeing was optimized and the range of the color difference of the instruction of errors were given; the sources and the range of experimental error were summarized. Computer color matching conducted under the control of the instruction of errors in experiment. A formula of evaluating the results of computer color matching were given, and the results show that the database which was established by using the same series dyes is the best choice to predict recipe by using the formula.In summary, by systematically analyzing of the sources of errors in computer color matching of fabric dyeing, this paper summarized and given some specific control measures. In this way, computer color matching can be achieved from theory to actual production.
