| Taking oil-coal slurry valve provided by Wuzhong Instrument Co. Ltd as the study object, this paper simulated fluid field in oil-coal flow valve under different working conditions by means of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, and obtained visualization analysis results of the flow field. Furthermore, change rule of valve working torque under different working conditions was analyzed.First, three-dimensional solid model of oil-coal slurry valve was established with SolidWorks. Based on it, model of inner fluid road was extracted and meshed by ICEM GFD software.Second, with the valve working under different openings and pressure, numerical simulation analysis of its flow field in two kinds of media was performed by CFD software. Visualization analysis of pressure, speed, flow, turbulent kinetic energy and spool stress was further made on the base of above simulation results. Operating torque of coal-oil slurry valve working under different pressure and openings was calculated. Change rule of working torque with pressure and openings was analyzed. Fitting curve of operation torque coefficient under different environment and calculation formula of operation torque was obtained.Finally, optimal structural design of valve was proposed based on the simulation and analysis results, and working torque of the optimized valve was calculated and analyzed. Compared to the initial design, the optimal design has a smaller working torque, which verifies the regulator structure optimization is feasible.Through the study of this paper, the torque increases as pressure increases when coal-oil regulating valve is in the fixed opening; the torque first increases then decreases as opening rises under the fixed differential pressure, and the torque reaches maximum when opening is 45°. So, in order to reduce working torque, the paper proposed four kinds of structural optimal design, respectively for regulating valve seat, packing and valve core. Three of them are particularly useful and feasible. And comparing simulation results of two kinds of different medium environment of water and coal-oil, it is evident that, the greater the dynamic viscosity of medium, the greater the operation torque of valve. The analysis process and method will provide a necessary reference for follow-up study on the regulator of working torque. |
